3rd Year DAT’s Testing

Parents/Guardians of 3B, 3D and 3F Students,
As per the School Calendar, D.A.T.’s (Differential Aptitude Test) testing will take place on Friday 15th November from 9.00am sharp until approx. 1.00pm for all students in 3B, 3D and 3F classes.
Please ensure your son has Pencils, Eraser, Sharpener and Ruler with him for the tests.
No calculator or paper is needed, and schoolbooks are not required for this day.
Students will present for the tests in the following Room
3B = Room 4/3
3D = Room 4/4
3F= Room 4/5

Healthy Hearts Permission Form

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Before the midterm break we sent information via the school app about the Healthy Hearts screening. This will take place here in our school on Monday December 2nd and Wednesday December 4th for all Transition Year and Senior Cycle students.
The cost of this cardiac screening is €40 per student. Each participant will be required to fill out a permission slip, questionnaire and consent form prior to the screening. The permission form is now available on the school app under the 'Permission forms' tab and the €40 fee can now be paid on our schools payment system Easy Payments Plus.
Please complete the online permission form and make payment before Friday 22nd November.

Guidance/Wellbeing Fees 2019/2020

A reminder to all parents/guardians that throughout the year all year groups will be involved with different workshops and guest speakers in relation to Guidance and Wellbeing. The Guidance/Wellbeing fee covers the cost of Wellbeing books, testing, workshops, guest speakers and the higher options trip for 6th Years.
Please see Easy Payments Plus online and see relevant year group for your son to make payment if you have not already done so.

5th Year Wellbeing Workshop

All 5th Year Wellbeing classes will partake in an interactive workshop exploring different leadership strengths in the Assembly on Monday 18th November from 9.40 - 11.00am.
This workshop is being delivered by 'Unleashing Personal Potential'.
Students please bring a pen/pencil to this workshop. Full uniform is required.

6th Year Parent Teacher Meeting

As per our school calendar the 6th Year Parent Teacher meeting will take place Wednesday 13th November from 4.15 - 6.45pm. School will finish at 3.45pm. Please be advised that there will be NO after school study except for 6th Years. Night study will go ahead as usual for 6th Years.
Your son is going home this evening with a letter for parents. Please ensure you have this letter with your sons list of teachers on Wednesday.

Congratulations to Mark Sargent and James Tierney, first year art students, who recently won awards In the Life Credit Union Art Competition.
