Archived : 12 Jun 2021, 12:00 AM
Dear Staff, Students, Parents & Guardians,
It is imperative that everyone completes the Covid-19 Self Declaration form before we return to school on Monday April 12th. This includes all staff again and our 5th & 6th Year students as we will be returning to the building after a prolonged period of time.
A consent form will be sent to everyone via the app to be completed.
With the large numbers returning to the school on April 12th please ensure that this form is completed. If you do not receive the form or are having any issues completing it please contact support@uniqueschools.ie
Please see the images attached to this notification which highlight where the form will be located on the app.
Please also see attached an important PDF which outlines our schools covid roadmap. It is important that everyone familiarises themselves with the procedures we have in place to keep everyone safe.
We will have reduced sized assemblies on Monday and look forward to welcoming everyone back.
Best wishes,
The Management Team

Attached is the timetable for the Irish Orals next week. (Tuesday/Wednesday 30th/31st March)
Reminder:
Students can come up to 30 mins before their exam and can practice outside quietly.
Students need to make sure they have their list of the 10 Sraith Pictiúr that they have chosen with them. That list is placed on the table at the beginning of the oral.
Students must ensure they leave their mobile phones off and outside of the room they are being interviewed in.
Just a reminder for everyone to double check their time and room that they are in. If anyone has any questions, they can ask their teachers on Google Classroom!

‘One Year Isn’t Seven’

‘’One Year Isn't Seven'' is a short monologue film written by Naas CBS teacher and local playwright Tom Noone. It is based on real events and real characters during the 'Spanish Flu' pandemic of 1918.
The similarities between the pandemic of 1918 and today's pandemic become apparent and the film offers great hope and a fresh perspective.
The story revolves around a young Naas girl Mollie Gray, Tom's grandmother and this part is performed by Tom's daughter. Mollie Gray was a member of the Naas branch of The National Women's Health Association. It was this group who were the frontline in many villages and towns in Ireland. In NAAS they were the ones who offered, support, help, supplies and food and HOPE to the people of Naas.
