Full uniform must be worn. It is very important that students have completed their Projects + Goals Sheet, & submitted this via their Digital Portfolios to me online before their interview. This is done through their Tutorials Google Classroom. The following is a link to a video explaining how to submit this step by step. Please follow these instructions exactly. drive.google.com/file/d/11eMIzSddwN_oo3d5OOlZZyOOM6yiQn7U/view?usp=sharing Students must ensure that all work is visible on their portfolios (especially their projects & goals sheet and graded pieces). Check the sharing settings of each project. Look at the following video to see how this is done: drive.google.com/file/d/1bWsiNPTlD6Tzw8VT5h-yfp-Ay-T0A4-h/view?usp=sharing Please be prepared for you interviews - be on time and look over project work beforehand to be familiar with it. In preparation for next weeks portfolio assessment, ALL students MUST complete a series of tasks before they come in for interview. Can I ask that parents/guardians please check with your sons that they have completed this work. These tasks are specific to their Digital Portfolios & project work. I have made a short 5 minute instructional video for students to follow step by step. The video can be viewed here: drive.google.com/file/d/11eMIzSddwN_oo3d5OOlZZyOOM6yiQn7U/view?usp=sharing In summary , students must: 1. Make a copy of the projects & Goals sheet available to them in their Tutorials Classroom. 2. Fill in the document in good detail. 3. Change the sharing settings of the doc to public (Anyone with the link can view). 4. Add the document to the homepage of their digital portfolio. 5. Submit the published link to their digital portfolio using the form available in their Tutorials classroom. Students who fail to have this prepared will have their interview rescheduled to Wednesday 26th Any issue please contact me immediately.
Legion of Mary

Every year around this time The Legion of Mary visit the school to talk to our sixth-year students ahead of their Leaving Certificate exams. Eileen and Aileen always give a lovely talk to the boys about the devotion to Our lady, the power of prayer and faith and especially to wish the boys the best in their exams and the future. For the past two years Covid has prevented this talk unfortunately. However, today Eileen and Aileen came to the school and gave a socially distanced talk to six of our sixth years. Two Rose bushes were planted for the leaving cert classes of 2020 and 2021. Aileen and Eileen left miraculous medals, a prayer card and a booklet explaining the origin and meaning and significance of the miraculous medal. There is one of each of these items for every sixth-year student who wishes to take one. Thanks again to Jamie Moore in 3rd Year for his excellent photography.
