Well done to all who got involved with the Lockdown Challenges set out in the previous term. Some additional prizes were given as a result of the great response. The winners are as follows: Steps Challenge 1st Place - Killian Burke 4A 951,035 steps - 158,000 Average per week, 22,500 average per day! 2nd Place - Bill Hennessey 4D 588,511 steps 3rd Place - Fionn McCarthy 4F 488,391 steps 5km Run Challenge 1st Place - Killian Burke Time: 17.10 2nd Place - Fionn McCarthy Time: 18.20 Prizes also for: Alex Sargent: 19.27 Evan O'Briain: 19.14 Daire O’Keefe: 19.52 Colin Bolton: 20.44 Photography Challenge Winner - Alexander Punselie 4A - Lakeshore Sun shot 2nd place - Dylan Judge 4E - Shot of toys on a fence Some of the other images submitted included. Transition Year Applicant Interviews - Tuesday 2nd & Wednesday 3rd March

The interviews for all 3rd years applying for TY next year will take place over tomorrow Tuesday (2nd) & Wednesday 3rd March. Please see the following link for the timetable. *Please note this timetable is subject to change* docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MQ2Q6Orw4oViDKRUq-jZouzBMexNFKPdapoCAY4BQUM/edit?usp=sharing The interviews are being done remotely through Zoom. The interviews will be done in a group format and will last 10 - 15 minutes. There is a Zoom link for students to click beside their name on the timetable, please go to this link 5 minutes before your start time. Please also ensure you have Zoom set up on your device beforehand. Students must be on time and have their cameras switched on. Please be situated in a suitable location, free from noise and distractions. School uniform is not a requirement. Students do not need to attend class during their allocated interview time. Return to School - 6th Years

We are delighted to be able to welcome our 6th Year students back into school on Monday 1st March. Please be conscious of our health and safety protocols in the school so that we can all remain safe. Please ensure you are wearing your facemask, sanitise your hands and follow the one-way system around the building when following your timetable. Information regarding Leaving Certificate 2021 will be communicated to 6th Years on Monday and as it continues to come in from the Department of Education.
