We would ask each student to donate €3.
As it is Halloween we would also like to see students and staff dressing up in their spooky costumes! There are a number of prizes for the best costumes.
Thank you for supporting this Rag Day.

Dear Debutantes (LC Class 2020 - 2021),
We are looking forward to welcoming you to your Graduation Ball tomorrow evening, Friday 22nd October, in The Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge.
Please see important information below from the hotel regarding requirements on the night:
A Covid cert is required from everyone attending and will be checked at the door before entry.
A facemask is required and all attendees must comply with the covid safety procedures the hotel has in place.
Identification is required at the bar.
There will be a mandatory bag check upon entry.
Entry doors on the night will be closed from 7.30pm, please arrive in good time.
Only students who sat the Leaving Certificate in our school in 2020 - 2021 and their invitee are eligible to attend the Graduation Ball. This rule will be strictly adhered to. The Debs Committee have the right to refuse admission to the debs and money will be refunded at a later date.
The ticket price covers the meal, security, band and DJ, food on departure home and buses back to Naas that night. Students make their own way to the Keadeen hotel tomorrow evening and buses will depart from the hotel at approximately 1.00am to return to Naas.
A photographer will be present on the night to capture Debs photographs in The Keadeen between 6:15 pm and 7:15pm for students that have signed up for Debs Photographs via the school app. Photographs will be posted to you after the Debs. There is a charge of €30.00 for two 8x6-mounted photographs, which is not included in the Debs ticket price. This photo option can be selected and paid for via the school app separately when purchasing your ticket online or this can be paid directly to the photographer in cash on the night.
As mentioned, entry doors on the night will be closed from 7.30pm in order to proceed with the meal. Please ensure you arrive beforehand as access to the ballroom cannot be accepted after this time.
We would request that the same high standards would apply to the Graduation Ball as they have to all other school events over the years in which this year group has been involved.
Finally, we would encourage all the students of the year to attend the Graduation Ball and we can confidently predict a memorable night for all.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow evening.
With best wishes,
The Debs Committee (Sharon Power, Jason Sheerin, Eimear Tuohy, Vanessa Lennon, Hazel Prendiville & Rebecca Maxwell)

4B Transition Year Community Week - Well Done!

A huge thank you and well done to the students of class 4B who spent the week volunteering in various aspects of the local community.
Pictured is James Codd who worked with the Kings Court Resident Association. He did great work sweeping, shovelling and gathering leaves and the estate looks really smart as a result of all of his efforts.
This is just one example of the good work done and it makes a significant difference.
Important Notice re: School Uniform

Many thanks to Parents, Guardians & Students to date for your cooperation with our school uniform policy. We are delighted to see how well the new school half-zip is looking and the feedback from the students has been extremely positive around it.
We wish to remind everyone that in addition to the school jumper all students must wear plain black shoes (no visible branding), a plain blue shirt, grey slacks (no track suits allowed) and the school tie every day.
The school shirt and tie must be visible with the half zip school jumper.
With the current option of three different Naas CBS school jumpers (see images below), no student should be wearing a different type of jumper or hoodie with the uniform.
The only exception to this policy (due to covid) is the permitting of sports gear being worn to school for students on the day in which they have P.E.
It is vital that our senior students, in particular our 6th Year students, lead the way with this.
Your continued support with this policy is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
The Management Team
