Congratulations to Vortex Racing F1 team, 3rd Fastest car, winners of Judge's Choice Award and Best Verbal Presentation. Fully deserved achievements for a hugely committed and hard working team of Conor Whelan, Adam Farrelly, Shane Vigna and Dylan Stewart. Thanks also to the tech teachers who helped the lads. 1st Year Paris Trip

Our 1st Year Paris Trip is going very well. The boys are having a great time and the weather in Paris is lovely. Please enjoy some of the photos of the trip so far. We wish them a safe trip home on Sunday. Au revoir!
Naas CBS Triathlon

The Parent's Council have been running a Triathlon in the school for the past 8 year's, we are looking for parent's who are willing to sponsor or donate a prize on the day, from yourself or through your business/employer. 'Just 1 Life' TY Road Safety Event

All Transition Year students attended the 'Just 1 Life' Road Safety event today in conjunction with Naas Rotary Club. An informative and helpful morning for everyone. Many thanks to Mr. Kelly, Ms. Lonergan and Ms. Costello. A timely reminder to all of us to exercise care at all times on our roads - whether as a Driver, Learner Driver, Pedestrian or Cyclist.
Rag Day in aid of Mobile Homeless Run

Many thanks to everyone who supported our Super Hero Rag Day today in aid of the Mobile Homeless Run. A particular thanks to Ms. Corcoran and the 6th Year group for all their work in organising this event. The Mobile Homeless Run was set up by one of our past pupils Jamie Carroll and we are delighted to be able to contribute to this charity. A total of €1719.75 was raised today. Well done again to everyone!
3rd Year Science CBA2

The 3rd Year Science CBA2 is now complete and your son has received his grade for this assessment. This grade, along with your son's English and Science CBA2 result will be recorded on his JCPA (Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement) which he will receive next November. You can find the Features of Quality for the Science CBA2 on our website under JCT. This will help you to understand the grade that he achieved.
Drop Everything and Read - Friday 12th

Friday 12th April is national ‘Drop Everything and Read’ day. This is a day when all students, staff and parents are encouraged to take time out to read a book purely for enjoyment. The English teachers hope to do this in their classrooms. We would ask you to encourage your son to bring a book to school on Friday and take the opportunity to read for pleasure,
2nd Year Junior Cycle Workshop

This week all 2nd Year students took part in a Junior Cycle workshop aimed to inform and engage students in the CBA (Classroom Based Assessments) process. Please see attached a copy of the worksheet and PowerPoint Presentation. It would be very beneficial if you could find the time to go through the PowerPoint and worksheet with your son. Classes will finish at 3.45pm for all students on Thursday 11th April due to the Transition Year Parent Teacher meeting. Due to this event there will be no Evening study except for 6th Year students and Night study will go ahead as usual.
