Fantastic news just in!! The 2nd year JCSP class with Ms Collins JCSP Coordinator, Ms McHale in our JCSP Library, Mr. Bourke in the Art Dept and Joe Curley our wonderful caretaker, have been crowned National Winners of the Biodiversity Junior Category this afternoon. The awards took place online hosted by 2FM's Tara Steward. Their project "Bee be gone if we don't act now" included artwork, printed tee-shirts, a book and a beautiful garden in the courtyard of Áras an Skinnider! This is a huge award to win so well done to Hannah, Jennifer, Lana, Amy, Kadie, Poppy, Saoirse and Millie. We are so proud of your efforts and success. Well deserved.

Our TY Class raised much needed funds for CanTeen Ireland, an organisation who help teenagers with cancer. The Localise Team have made a video to thank all the schools who participated in the programme this year. Congratulations to the girls who completed their submission to Technovation this week. Technovation equips young women with skills to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. The girls created a business plan, developed a working app and pitched their social enterprise to a global panel of judges through a video. We are delighted to announce that Ioana Jitariuc and Terezia Gembicka from 3rd year have been shortlisted globally! The semi finalists will be announced on June 15th 2020!
