Tie Dye Workshop

Our JCSP students were lucky enough to take part in a tie dye workshop last week with Ms Byrne! Students loved the experience, and had the opportunity to get creative and upcycle some old tshirts! A big thank you to Ms Kennedy in the Home-Ee department for supplying the equipment

For Mental Health Awareness Day 2020 we are encouraging all of our students to look after their mind and wellbeing, and to take a look at our library's wonderful selection of wellbeing books. The book display contains a selection of books from the @JCSPlibraries and @JigsawYMH #Read Your Mind book collection and the @JigsawYMH and @KidBooksIre #MindYourself book collection. Also, a full section called Read Your Mind is available on the SORA app.

Mount Carmel was awarded a European Language Label for an exchange between last year's 6th years and a French school (Lycée Polyvalent Napoléon). Not only did we win a trophy, but also Chromebooks for our school! Well done to Mr Gunning, our French teacher, and to all students involved!
