Our TY students have proudly been working on the promotion of The GOAL Mile, taking place on St. Stephen's Day at Terenure College from 11am-1pm.
With just a few days left to our big Christmas Raffle we thought we would share another little peak inside some of our hampers! Lucky winners might just walk away with some of the following:
A generous voucher from one of our donors like Studio 6 Hairdressers; Life Pharmacy; Posy Bakes; Mick Dowling Sport; John Ryan Photography or perhaps one of the many One4All vouchers available.
Perhaps, some DIY over the Christmas? Well look no further than a set of screwdrivers and drill bits or a €100 voucher for Templeogue Decor.
With plenty of chocolates, biscuits, wine and fizz to be won there is something for everyone on offer so make sure to buy your tickets in time!
The school reports for the November Assessments have now been published on VSware for parents and students to view. We would like to congratulate all of our students on their achievements to date this year. It is important for each student to pay close attention to the guidance given by teachers on these reports so as to continue to make improvements and move their own learning forward.
Just 5 more sleeps left to the big OLS Christmas Raffle Draw! Our hampers are swelling very nicely thanks to the wonderful donations, such as:
Gift vouchers galore from Templeogue Decor, Terenure Office Supplies, Spawell Golf Centre, Easy Garden Centre and many, many more.
Or perhaps you fancy pampering yourself with our Beauty Care Hamper, Ritual Body Set or even a David Beckam Toilet Sets.
From a stylish tablet computer to a luxurious food hamper, we have your Christmas presents covered. So why not buy a ticket or two from one of our students or vist the Easy Payments Plus button on our website to purchase additional booklets. There's still time to contribute a gift to one of the hampers also by dropping your donation into reception.
Draw to take place on Tuesday 20th December.
Advent candle
Megan lit the third candle of Advent on Monday. The pink candle symbolises joy that comes from Christ in our lives to truly be joyful and simple.
German Christmas
GerNikolaus arrived to the German classes of OLS on 6th December. In Germany, children clean their boots and leave them outside for Nikolas to fill with chocolate. We aren't convinced that the boots were too well cleaned, maybe the girls' good behaviour made up for it?
First year Assembly
All First Year students had an end of term assembly during pastoral care on Tuesday with Ms. Donlon and their Form teachers. The students looked back on photos of their time in OLS so far. Certificates and prizes were then handed out to each student with the most merits. Well done to Amelia, Layla, Eva Marie, Ellen, Sarah and Megan for coming top place in their class. A big congratulations to B1 for winning best class overall with 239 merits. Keep up the good work everyone!
The Science of Snow
Ms Floods science class braved the snow to investigate the latent heat of fusion!
Christmas Doors
The Third Year classes are competing in a Christmas door decoration competition. There are some very creative designs on display.

We held our annual Gifts to the Crib today. Students brought in various gifts to be donated such as gift cards, care packages, dog food/treats, dog toys, food hampers and children's toys and clothes. After a beautiful ceremony students were asked to bring their gifts up to their house tree. Thank you to the Charity Committee and Le Chéile Council for organising.
