Dance into December

Dance into December sessions are available for 4th, 5th and 6th year students every Wednesday lunchtime in the Sports Hall. Sessions are available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd years every Thursday at lunchtime. Don't forget to bring your runners and tracksuit bottoms. Dance into December is part of Our Lady's Health Promoting Schools (HPS) initiative encouraging the students to participate in non-competitive exercise and de-stress.

Sixth year parent career information

The sixth year parent career information meeting will take place on Wednesday 30th November 2016 at 7.30pm. Ms. Fiona Casey, Schools’ Liaison Officer, Maynooth University will give a presentation on college applications. We will also provide information on CAO, PLC (post leaving certificate) courses, grants and access routes to college. We look forward to meeting you at this event. John Lonergan, the ex-Governor of Mountjoy, will give a talk for parents entitled Parenting: Challenges and Rewards in the GPA of the school on Thursday 8th December at 7.30 pm. Fáilte roimh chách. This talk has been organised by the Parents'Council for the parent body.

Canteen services inc. tea coffee, paninis and rolls are available before study begins from Mon to Thurs. Students can pre-order and pay at lunchtime.

Traffic arrangements! Keep your daughter safe! Parents/guardians dropping students to school are asked to turn left, as they enter the school grounds. Using the " Drop Off Zone " will mean that the girls can access the school without walking across the car park.
Past Pupil Reunion - Class of 1996

On Saturday 12th November Our Lady's School welcomed back the Class of 1996. Memories were shared and a tour of the "old " and the "new" school was enjoyed by all! Orla Kearney(R.I. P) was remembered in a special way.
Sticks and Stones -Anti-Bullying workshops for 2nd years

On Tuesday 15th November all second year students will attend "Sticks and Stones" anti-bullying workshops. B2 & P2 will attend the workshops in the morning and C2 & L2 will attend in the afternoon.
