Congratulations to the students who represented Our Lady's School at the Terenure College MUN conference on the 27th and 28th of September. All the girls did a great job and were wonderful ambassadors for the school and their country, Indonesia. Congratulations to Emma Casier who was a guest chair and was presented with a medal for her contribution. Well done to all students who had amendments and resolutions passed.
The Lighthouse Project

The role of the Lighthouse Project is to empower students through leadership. Today a group of our 5th Year and 6th Year students undertook Lighthouse training in how to be a leader and mentor to their peers and younger students. We look forward to seeing them explore their roles over the coming year!

Well done to all our TYs who have taken on all Carlingford activities today with great gusto. We've 2 more exciting days left and can't wait to see how the girls rise to these challenges. Reminder if any parents need to contact their daughters they are allowed access to their phones during free time in the evenings. Naughton Scholarship 2019

Congratulations to Anna Caslin, Class of 2019 who was awarded the Naughton scholarship on Saturday in Trinity College.. She was presented with a Naughton medal and a financial bursary by the Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe, and Martin and Carmel Naughton. Our Lady's is honoured to acknowledge Anna's great achievement as our 1st Naughton Scholar and wish Anna every success in her future.
Meet the 6th Year Council!

At a special House Assembly today, the 6th Year Council were presented with their House badges by Ms Gorby. Each House Captain addressed the whole school and introduced their council members. The House Captains also explained some background to their House so that the 1st Years could hear a little more about their House's unique identity. We wish the 6th Year Council every success in the coming year and we look forward to the energy, leadership and vision they will bring to their Houses and to the school. 6th Year Academic Mentoring

An academic mentoring programme is being made available to every 6th Year student in Our Lady's. Each student has been assigned a mentoring teacher who will meet with her to offer advice and guidance throughout her 6th Year academic journey. Mentoring teachers are volunteering their time to work with students in the areas of: managing workload, goal setting, study planning, time management, prioritisation, getting the most from school and achieving balance.
