Congratulations to all the students who received their Junior Certificate Results today. We are glad to see that the girls have recovered excellently from Carlingford. They were engaged with all activities and tried all the new experiences available. Some notice for the week ahead: Next Wednesday all students will be attending Zeminar in NSC in Blanchardstown. Students must be in school for the regular school start as they will have their first class a usual. Students are permitted to wear their tracksuit if they wish. They will be back in school by 15:10, traffic dependent. Permission slips must be submitted on the app if not already done so. Permission is included in the generic permission slip published at the beginning of the school year. If you have any app issues please send your daughter to Ms. Ronan to rectify. If unable to fix app prior to the trip on Wednesday please email sineadphillips@olschool.ie in order to give permission for this particular event. If your daughter is unable to attend school on that day please ensure to have the notice in on the app as soon as possible. A reminder that insurance costs are included in the yearly school costs. In order for your daughter to be insured on her work experiences this needs to be paid. If any difficulties please email admin@olschool for the attention of the accounts department. A reminder to all students who signed up for rugby with Terenure College RFC. Training will be starting Monday the 7th. Meet in Terenure College RFC at 18:15. Well done to the TYs who received the first phase of their Junior Cycle results today. The girls were, justly, thrilled with their successes and we are very proud of their efforts. They will receive their Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement at a later date, which will give a broader perspective of their Junior Cycle learning, including their Classroom Based Assessments and Other Areas of Learning.

Congratulations to our debutantes 2019! The girls enjoyed a wonderful reception hosted by the Parents' Council in Terenure College Rugby Club yesterday evening. The Class of 2019, their families, OLS staff and many more revelled in the glamour and wished the girls well as they headed off to their Debs ball. Many thanks to our wonderful Parents' Council for all their organisation and to Terenure College Rugby Club for the use of their venue (beautifully bedecked in pink for the occasion!) and their staff for excellent attention to detail. The Parents' Council AGM was a second successful event yesterday evening, whereby the parents did some listening, some planning and some voting during a most informative meeting. The session culminated in an engaging, relevant and superbly delivered presentation by Dónal O'Shea. Again, we are very grateful to all who gave of their time to facilitate this event.
