A reminder that there are some outstanding payments on easy payments including Safeguarding course, Sign language, and MADMUN. Biodiversity in Bushy Park

Green Schools had an exciting morning learning about the ecology of Bushy Park and attending a tree planting ceremony. This was an engaging initiative organised by the Department of Heritage, Culture and the Gaeltacht and Dublin City Council. Students completed an ecological survey of the woodland. They also got to meet Minister Madigan to plant a Sessile Oak in Bushy Park. This was a wonderful opportunity to learn all about the importance of Irish woodland and biodiversity.

A special day for OLS

Today marked our celebration of the Nuns' Feast Day in OLS. We welcomed the Sisters and some special guests to celebrate the foundation of our order, the Religious of Christian Education. The 5th Year students prepared a wonderfully meaningful reflection around the theme of Sisterhood and we took the opportunity to formally appoint the new members of the Le Chéile Council. Today also marked the beginning of the OLS Winter Charity Drive. We had a visit from GOAL and heard about the GOAL mile that OLS proudly organises and supports on St Stephen's Day in Terenure College. We also reflected on Fr Peter McVerry's work with the homeless and strategised for our upcoming Christmas Coin Collection and knitting relay to create winter woollies for the homeless to show that we care.
