Best of luck to Kilcullen Senior Ladies GAA team as they take on Naas in the Intermediate Championship Final this Saturday. The team is full of both current and past CPC students. Everyone in CPC is cheering for you and we will be getting as much black and white up as possible to show our support. Throw in is 3pm in Hawkfield. Best of luck Girls.

6th year Agricultural science and 6th year home economics classes enjoyed a day out at the national ploughing on Tuesday 20th. Both groups got to see a range of stalls set up from agricultural machinery , livestock , new technologies in agriculture, educational bodies and food stalls. It was a great experience for the students coursework and a great day enjoyed by all. Ms.Doyle & Ms.O Malley

A number of TY Students received Positive Postcards this week as a result of their recent Positive contribution to TY over the past few weeks. Congratulations to all those who received a positive postcard this week. The Positive Postcards Initiative continues throughout the year. There will be plenty of opportunities for each student to receive one over the coming weeks and months.

A cohort of our TY students improved their Tennis skills as part of the schools Active Week. Some very impressive skills on show, a special thanks to the Kilcullen Tennis Club for the use of their very impressive facilities. It is hoped that more students will get this opportunity in the coming weeks. Our thanks to Mr Mulligan for arranging this opportunity.

All TY Students attended Just One Life hosted by Naas & Newbridge Rotary Clubs in Newbridgeon Thursday15thSeptember. Members of the fire service, hospital emergency and the GardaĆ­ gave powerful and informative presentations on the importance of road safety for all road users.
6th year Geography field trip 2022

The 6th year Geography students went on a field trip investigation on Wednesday the 14th. The trip was to the River Liffey in Kippure Co. Wicklow. The students investigated a V-shape valley. The investigation is worth 20% of the overall LC Geography marks. The trip was a success and was mostly rain free. Many thanks to all the students and also to the class teachers, Mr Walsh and Mr. Dzilic.

Transition Year student James Reid was 1 of just 2 Irish athletes who qualified for the 2022 World Karate Championships in Liverpool last weekend. James came an unbelievable 6th, pictured is James beating the Lithuanian contingent. Well done James, everyone in CPC is so proud of you.
