Dear parents, guardians, students and staff,
Happy new year to you all.
Due to the poor weather conditions, the forecast overnight and the changing situation, the decision has been made not to reopen tomorrow.
This decision was made reluctantly and in the interest of the safety of staff, students and their families who might have travelled.
I expect that we will be able to reopen on Tuesday.
Kind regards
Joe Leonard
Principal

Well done to our TY and Fifth Year Year students who volunteered at the Annual Food School Ronald McDonald House Dinner on Saturday last. Families were delighted to be served delicious food and receive lovely presents from Santa in the grotto that some of our students helped to build earlier in the week. It was a truly special day that brought joy and happiness to some of Ireland's young patients and their families who stay in Ronald McDonald House to support them during their stay in Crumlin's Childrens Hospital. Thank you to Georga and Conor for giving our students this opportunity to volunteer and make a real difference to the lives of others.
After their assembly today, the 1st years were treated to an hour of colouring and listening to some Christmas music, organised by the 1st year prefects.
The 1st years competed in a colouring competition while listening to some Christmas music.
The prefects picked three winners from each class group and they were presented with some prizes.
The 1st years also gave each of their prefects a little gift to say ‘thank you’ for all of their hard work so far this year.
What a lovely activity to be involved in to end the year.
Congratulations to all of the winners picked.
The prefects look forward to organising more activities for the 1st years in the new year, 2025.
