A spectacular afternoon of activities, Archery, Alt Alt and Axe Throwing was rounded off with a delicious sundae. All this in the stunning surroundings of sun drenched Carlingford. Students enjoyed every moment of their two day adventure and waved goodbye as we drove away. Lots of fun, laughter and great memories made!

The TY Community care class hosted a bake sale on Monday 15th April during lunchtime to raise funds for Barretstown, the children's charity. They had a selection of homemade baked goods such as brownies and cookies. It was a great success!
A huge thank you to all involved and all who contribute to the cause. Keep an eye on the app for the delivery of funds raised to Barretstown!
A number of our students attended Le Cheile's Student Symposium in Knock shrine on Thursday 18th April. The day served as an opportunity for students to embark on a pilgrimage to Knock Shrine, County Mayo.
There were various workshops such as learning of the story of Knock, “Mosaic” Story in the Basilica, a talk from two young ladies about their involvement in World Youth Day in Lisbon, an eye-opening talk about recovery from addiction through faith, positivity of music in prayer, meditation sessions, a workshop on 'How I live my faith', time in The reconciliation Chapel, and writing a letter to God. Our students were divided into groups among with other Le Cheile schools and engaged with three of the above workshops.
This was a great way for students to explore/deepen their faith and meet other students from across 33 other Le Cheile schools. Afternoon mass was held in the Basilica.
The students that attended are:
Amy Schmelter (Ember team member)
Oisin Monks
Niamh Flynn
Cadhla O'Brien
