Narrative 4

Irish writer Colum McCann established Narrative 4, which is now operational in 12 countries. The programme is rooted in the practice of story exchange, where trained facilitators work with young people to use their own stories to build empathy, shatter stereotypes, and break down barriers. Research has shown that storytelling can increase emotional intelligence, improve positive emotions, and create compassionate leaders.

Congratulations to the following TY students for completing the Narrative 4 personal storytelling programme. Miss Harney presented certificates to the students, who were accompanied by their teachers, Ms O’Sullivan and Ms King.

Euan Finucane, Darragh Maher, John Bissett, Aoife Holden Pink, Ben Pullen, Layton Wilson.

Missing from the picture are Julie Aylward, Evey Brand, Darragh Taaffe and Grace O’Connell.

But who will bring Cathy to the Debs?

We were delighted to attend the inaugural An Cuan games in Maynooth Community College on Wednesday 24th April last week. The games were held for students attending autism classes all over Kildare.

The day was a huge success with students participating in events such as balloon volleyball, bowling, hockey, penalty shootouts, tag rugby and many more!

Well done to Tomas, Alex, Ronan and Logan and a huge thank you to Maynooth CC for hosting the event. We are looking forward to next year!
