Our 5th and 6th year LCA classes enjoyed a Tourism Trip today which included a visit to St Brigid's Cathedral and Round Tower, a Walking Tour of Kildare Town,a visit to St Brigid's Well, the National Stud and Japanese Gardens. Students learned lots about the tourist attractions on offer in Kildare. Students enjoyed a nice sweet treat in Firecastle also. A lovely day was had by all.
Our TY students had a fantastic day exploring our culture and heritage with visits to EPIC Museum and Croke. It was a very enjoyable day. Thank you to Mr Walsh and Mr McLaughlin for accompanying the group.
We were delighted to gather all of our TY students to celebrate and reward their great work on the TY Musical.
Tea, buns and biscuits were enjoyed by all students as a reward for all their work in putting on such a wonderful and successful TY Musical.
We also recognised the efforts and contributions of students in other year groups and made presentations to them for all of their hard work in the choir, stage construction, band etc.
We are all very proud to see our school community work so well together to produce such a wonderful show that was enjoyed by so many people.
Congratulations and well done to all involved in this years TY musical.

Well done to the students in 5A who ran very successful bake sales on Thursday and Friday of last week with some very impressive products on sale! They were also busy on Friday delivering goodie bags anonymously to students and staff members throughout the school.
Both activities were part of their Enterprise Task in Vocational Preparation and Guidance.
After the Easter holidays, students will complete the report on their task and will prepare for their interview by an external examiner.
Congratulations again for organising and running such a successful event.
