Sincere thanks to Lt. Michelle Kelly who recently spoke to our TY students about careers in the Irish Defence Forces. Lt Kelly gave students a fantastic insight into the opportunities available for a wide range of careers with our defence forces. Lt. Kelly spoke about the importance of resilience, determination and motivation citing wonderful examples from her own life.

Congratulations to the MyCanteen team who won the prestigious Innovation Award at today's County Enterprise Finals. Their app makes ordering lunch more efficient for both students and businesses. Well done to Nathan Rusk, John Healy, Benjamin Martin, Jamie Leonard and Kai Ryan. Congratulations also to Aoife O'Malley their enterprise teacher who guided and supported the team to their success

Good luck to our students who are competing in the County Enterprise Finals today. Pick and Mix Cosmetics, who produce handmade candles, bath bombs, bath salts and soap. MyCanteen who have created an app to make ordering lunch more efficient for both students and businesses. Both teams have worked extremely hard with the support of their teacher Aoife O'Malley.

4th yr students are collecting food donations for SVP this week. Please donate to this very worthy cause. Items collected during 9am classes by 4th years or they can be dropped in the collection box in TY room at lunchtimes. Examples of what can be donated are breakfast cereals, pasta, rice, canned food, possible luxury/ treat items for example an Easter Egg/ biscuits/ crisps etc.
