On Monday, 14th December at the invitation of the German Department, the Deutschmobil paid a very special visit to the students of German throughout the school. The Deutschmobil is a mobile unit sponsored by the German Embassy in Dublin and the Goethe Institut Irland. It is part of a wider campaign "German Connects" to support and promote the German language in Ireland. During the visit students were given an opportunity to participate in various fun activities with the emphasis on the use of the German language. The Deutschmobil is equipped with carefully chosen teaching material for its tour throughout Ireland. At the end of each session students were given small presents which were a very welcome gesture. A very enjoyable and successful day was had by all.
