Some of our students and staff travelled to the Aviva Stadium today to watch Ireland take on Scotland. A very enjoyable day was had by all.

We would like to congratulate our Senior Boys Soccer team and their coaches who will receive the Western People Mayo Sports Stars Award for Soccer in a ceremony taking place in Breaffy House Hotel this evening. We are extremely proud of this very talented group of sportsmen. Congratulations!

Our Transition Year Students will present “High School Musical Las Vegas” on the following dates, Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th, Friday 14th and Saturday 15th February 2020. Tickets can be purchased online via Easy Payments for families with students currently attending our school . Tickets can also be purchased from Melissa in the School Office Monday - Friday 10 am - 1 pm. Enquiries to Melissa on school mobile 086 0228060. Ticket Cost: Adults €10 Children/Student (Primary & Post Primary) €5 Evening Shows Wed., Thurs. and Friday 8 pm (Doors open at 7:20 pm) Evening Show Saturday 8:30pm (Doors open at 7:50 pm) Tickets purchased online can be collected from the office in advance (Monday-Friday 10am -1pm) or at the door. Open Seating Applies. Early arrival recommended. Refreshments will be available for purchase on the night. We look forward to welcoming you to our school.

Catholic Schools Week takes place this week. Our Second Year students attended a special Mass in The Cathedral of the Annunciation and St Nathy in Ballaghaderreen yesterday. The mass was celebrated by the Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo and he announced that Fr. Paul Dempsey has been appointed as the Bishop of Achonry. We would like to welcome Bishop Dempsey to our Diocese and look forward to working with him.
