Billy Holmes, Third Year, is through to the Regional Final of this National Art Competition. We are very proud of his achievement and we Billy the best of luck in the final. 1st Picture is Billy's entry in this years competition. 2nd Picture is Billy's entry to the competition in 2018 which was awarded second place.
‘China in my Eyes’ Art Competition

Rebecca Conlon, 5th Year, is through to the final 25 in this National Art Competition. She will go to the Awards Ceremony on Sunday December 1st 2019.. The competition was to create an artwork on the theme of Chinese culture or China-Ireland friendship. The competition was organised by The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ireland, UCD Confucius Institute for Ireland and Confucius Institute (CI) University College Cork. All the finalist’s art works will be on exhibition in UCD for one week and also in UCC for a week. We wish Rebecca the best of luck in the final. We are very proud of her achievement. Rebecca used colouring pencils for her beautiful picture of a Panda with a Temple in the background. Also pictured are some of the fabulous entries by Fifth Year students in the ‘China in My Eyes’ Art Competition.

Well done to the U17 Girls Soccer team who had a good win today over Ballygar. They now proceed to the Connacht sem-final against Lacken Cross! Best of luck girls.

Congratulations to the Senior Girls won 9-0 vs Grange today. They are now through to a Connacht semi-final next Friday against Our Lady's, Belmullet. Best of luck girls!

An Information Evening for First Year Parents will take place this evening, Thursday 21st November at 7:15 pm in the school. The Topics covered will be - the New Junior Cycle, Assessment, School Policy & Procedures, Accessing your child's records on E-portal etc. Please bring your son/daughters school Journal with you. We would appreciate if a Parent/Guardian for each 1st Year Student could attend. We look forward to meeting you this evening.
