The following have qualified for the Munsters which will take place on Saturday 18th May In Templemore.

Congratulations to Ceire Ryan (5th Year) Caoimhe Whelan (5th Year) and Deirdre Roche (TY) on their Munster Minor final victory with Waterford at the weekend.
Hard luck to the BCS representatives on the Waterford U14, U14B and U16B panels who lost their Munster finals recently.

Some results today from the County Athletics Championship. Well done to Malachy Oakley Nolan for silver in the boys u15 discus, Sean Byrne also u15 4th in the discus, Kate Cullinane won the girls u15, hammer, shot putt, triple jump and got silver in the high jump. Well done to you all and your club Finisk AC.

Congratulations to Conor O'Brien 5th Year student who won the Life Sciences Award sponsored by Regeneron at the Scifest@College awards in SETU Waterford on Thursday 25th April. This award is presented to the project that best demonstrates a passion for using science for good, an exceptional understanding of life sciences concepts, perseverance and flexibility. Conor's project was entitled "Threats to Ireland's Upland Wildlife and Possible Solutions".

A fantastic day out in the RSC today for BCS athletes.
Minor Girls
Kate Cullinane 1st in shot putt with a county record throw of 10m 60cm.
Kate also came 2nd in the discus event.
Minor Boys
Patrick Power 1st in discus and 2nd in shot putt
Malachy Oakley Nolan came 1st in shot putt and made the jump to junior for the javelin event and placing 3rd
Junior Girls
Rachel Power came 2nd in both discus and javelin events
Intermediate Girls
Eimear Meaney came 1st in the long jump.
Lena Kowalcze 3rd in discus and 3rd in shot putt.
Deirdre Roche 2nd in shot putt.
Senior Girls
Neave Rossa 1st in high jump
Neesha Whelan 2nd in 800m with Clodagh Stapleton in 3rd.
Clodagh also came 2nd in the 1500m.
Congratulations also to our senior girls relay team who finished off the day in 2nd place.

The East Munster Girls competition will take place next Thursday in the RSC with the boys competition taking place the following Wednesday in Templemore. There will be further details posted later regarding these events.
