BT Young Scientist.

There will be a meeting on Monday the 12th of May at 1:15 in G03 for all students interested in entering the BT Young Scientist. Before the meeting please go to the Young Scientist website and familiarise yourself with the Categories and the structure of the competition.
We will go through any further questions you may have at our meeting. Ms Barrett and Mr Joyce

Musical 2025

Auditions will take place Thursday 15th after school for any 3rd year student going into TY who would like take part in the musical as a lead or minor role on stage. You do not have to be the best singer, please audition if you would like to be on stage. There will be many parts available.
Please prepare a song of your choice with a backing track to accompany. A verse and chorus will be enough. Karaoke backing tracks are available on YouTube.
Auditions will be in B2 from 345-445
If any student has a real difficulty in staying after school we can arrange an alternative. Speak with Ms Lane or Ms Tobin directly.
There will be a sign up sheet in B2 bwtwen now and next Tuesday 13th

Athletics East Munster Boys

The East Munster Boys T&F competition will take place in the RSC in Waterford on Thursday. Closing date for entries is Tuesday 6th at 4pm. Details of events are on the Athletics Teams page.
Please contact Ms.Lineen before Tuesday with details of the events you wish to enter. Only 2 events per student and only 2 students per school per event.

Grandparents Mass

We had a lovely turnout for our TY Grandparents Mass . It was a marvellous experience and lovely words from Fr Michael Cullinan, Fr Paddy Osborne and Mr Denis Ring. The occasion finished off beautifully with a great chat along with a cuppa and refreshments. Well done to the R.E. Dept and all involved.

Well done to Bill Murphy, 5th Year who has been selected to compete in the European Rowing Championships in Poland on 23rd & 24th May. Bill is one of 6 who qualified for the U19 Rowing Team. We all wish Bill the very best of Luck

Well done to the U14 team who narrowly missed out on the semi finals of the U14 South East Blitz in Cahir today.
The lads played exceptionally well and beat Presentation Fethard 2-0, with 2 goals from Byron Fraher.
