The following events are taking place from November 8th & are open to young people and their families. The key organiser of this is from Kildare Town and works in the Gaiety school and is keen to offer it to the Kildare community. Some of it was scheduled to take place in the Hive but is now online.  The Gaiety School of Acting have partnered with the Hive Youth Hub, Kildare Town, the Irish Girl Guides and the National Museum of Ireland for Science week 8-15th November. 5 fantastic workshops where Science, Visual Arts and Drama meet, now all taking place online. This is ideal for young people and their families of all generations during this Lockdown period. The next Parents' Association meeting will be held on Monday, 9th November at 7.30pm. The Regatta / Deerpark waterproof hooded fleece lined school coat can be ordered & purchases at The Back to School Shop & Kidstff Newbridge for €45.99. 1st & 2nd Years are allowed to wear their PE half Zip under their school jumper. 3rd /4th/5th & 6th yrs are allowed to wear their PE Hoody under their school jumper.

Virtual 5k runners & walkers

Congrats to all of our students who completed the virtual 5k over the last few weeks. All money raised is going to the school courtyard fund, yoga mats for the PE Wellness department and a donation to Pieta House. Thank you to all so much for your generosity.

LATE STUDY APPLICATION FORM

We hope to run LATE STUDY ( numbers permitting) for an 8 week term from Mon 9th Nov to Fri 15th Jan 2021. Application forms can be accessed, completed and submitted via school app under Consent form Tab . Priority will be given to 6th years in event of oversubscription. Late Study fee is €120 and payments can be made via Easypayments. Easypayments is available on the app , go to SHOP and Easypayments. Further details in Application form. Thank you.

School PPE update

Further to product recall information received from the Department of Education and Skills last night, an audit of Covid 19 safety products has been completed today in HFSS. Fortunately, none of our biocidal hand sanitisers, hand soaps, detergents and wipes were effected. HFSS will continue to be fully compliant with covid 19 school safety protocols and measures.
