Well done to our 6th year St. Vincent de Paul Team who had a civvies day in school to raise money for the Newbridge Day Care Centre. The Students raised €805 on the day. We would like to thank everyone for their donations, support and kindness. In total to date our 6th year SVP Team have raised €1,036 for the Newbridge Day Care Centre. It was lovely to welcome John and Charlotte representing the Day Care Centre to collect the money presented by Niamh Shannon (5th Yr). They were delighted with the contribution

Congratulations to our all our students who made the following Kildare football panels :U14 Kildare Panel - Molly O'Neill, Anna Dillon, Sadhbh Mulpeter, Lily Heavey U16 Kildare Panel- Faye Durney, Sadie Burke, Emily Carr. Also congrats to Sarsfields Camogie player, ( pictured) Muireann O'Donnell (  ( 3rd Year) making it onto the U16 Kildare Camogie pane

 Pictured is Molly O'Neill 2nd Year who has made u14 Kildare 2025 panel. Molly has been part of the school team with Football and Camogie and plays for Moorefield GAA.

We are asking students to make a donation to the Dining Room this Christmas. The HFY girls are organising this collection and are asking students to bring in just ONE item. The charity is looking for the usual Christmas treats, selection boxes, mince pies, tea, coffee, sugar etc. Any non-perishable food or toiletries would be appreciated. We are also encouraging students to think of teenagers in particular with their donations. All donations can be put into the boxes outside Ms. Allen's office. We ask that all donations are in by Tuesday 17th of December.

Please join us this evening, Tuesday 10th December at 7pm, for our annual Christmas Concert in school. Our music students have been busy preparing a variety of festive songs to celebrate the Christmas Season and may even convince you to join in with a song or two.

The 5th and 6th year German students are enjoying their last evening in Berlin . They made the most of their 4 days in this great city , jam packed days with language lessons , history , cultural visits , Christmas markets , food and they are also now experts at navigating the complex public transport system too “ auf Deutsch “  of course ! Well done girls.
