Dear Parents/Guardians

As you are aware, good school attendance is important to your daughter's achievement, wellbeing and wider development. Students who attend school regularly significantly contribute to their long-term educational attainment and are more likely to develop positive relationships with peers and teachers, enhancing their overall emotional resilience and mental health.

As part of our Attendance Strategy to promote the importance of good attendance, we are launching a new attendance initiative called the "12 Full Days of Christmas".

Starting next Monday 2nd December, for 12 days, every student who is present for the full day AND on time for all classes will be entered into a draw to win some lovely prizes.

Be In to Win is just a fun way to encourage everyone to be in and get involved and we are asking for parents support by encouraging your child to attend all day, every day!

Our service puppy in training has finished her first day at work! Esme joined us at HFSS today. She is 13 weeks old. We are already all smitten.

Esme is a shepadoodle. She is a very gentle pup. A sister from the litter is in Piper's Hill College (Naas) and another is in the Curragh Community College.

We are incredibly grateful to the charity, My Canine Companion, for supporting our school and giving us this opportunity.
