TYs worked really hard this week cleaning the algae from the school tunnel, removing a few sapling interlopers that had self seeded inside under the plastic, harvesting our mixed lettuce crop and, in general, giving it a good Spring clean!

Today Lucy, Alice and Claire distributed a selection of beautiful lettuce leaves and winter greens to some of their TY teachers. The leaves were all grown in the school tunnel as part of the TY gardening module. These leaves are packed with nutrients that are much needed in January!

Both our Junior (4-0) & 1st Year (3-0) teams who had great wins against Midleton College today in the league. Goals from Aisling O’Donovan, Hannah Dowling, Mamie Kenneally & Ciara Quinn for the juniors. Ava Nugent, Lauren Cliffe & Kate Russell scoring for the 1st years. Shout out also to 1st Year goalie Lily Burke who played pulled off some super saves!

Please note. There will be no classes on Wednesday next the 19th of Jan. This is to allow for Parent teacher meeting which will be taking place on that day for 1st and 2nd year parents. Also please note that classes will finish at 1:15pm Monday the 7th of February to accommodate 5th year Parent teacher meetings. Any Pre exams scheduled for that afternoon will go ahead.

CAO feb 1st deadline is looming. Please call to me at 9am in the morning if I haven't met you regarding your CAO. Majority have been met now. All 6th years applying for DARE I need to see you this week also so we can firm up the Section B form. Please have Section A completed prior to attending.
