Congratulations to our Link Modules students for preparing excellent portfolios as part of their Leaving Certificate. They have now been posted to the State Exams Commission. LCVP  is a worthwhile programme that combines the academic strengths of the Leaving Certificate with a dynamic focus on self directed learning, enterprise, work and the community.
Assessment is by written examination (40%) and by Portfolio of coursework (60%). A Distinction in this programme is the equivalent of a H3 on a higher level paper and is therefore very valuable. The students will sit the written paper of LCVP on Wednesday 3rd May.

Well done to all involved and to the 5th year camogie’s girls for making the running of the blitz so smoothly.

Thrilled to be part of todays Euroscola session in Strasbourg. 23 countries represented by 44 schools and 1220 participants. St Augustine’s College is representing Ireland.  Euroscola  offers an immersive experience in the Chamber of the European Parliament in Strasbourg , allowing secondary school students to learn about European integration by experiencing it first-hand.  Today’s topic in parliament is Towards a sustainable food system: The European Union’s Strategy. 24 Friary TY students are ready to pose their questions. Many thanks to Ms McGann, Ms Pender and Mr O Brien for travelling with the students.  @EUROSCOLA
