South Kerry Development Partnership in collaboration with Jigsaw Kerry are offering a free workshop for parents on ‘Supporting Young Peoples Mental Health’. The workshop will be held online via zoom on March 13th from 7 to 8.30pm. Learn Strategies and tools to promote and support young people’s mental health, information on Jigsaw Kerry and other services available to support young people and you as a parent, carer or guardian. Congratulations to Ruairi Murphy, who was part of the UCC senior football team that won the Sigerson cup final against UL last after extra time. Commiserations to David Mangan and Gearóid Hassett who were with UL.

Our U15s bowed out of Munster after a very brave effort away to Newport today. We went 1 down before Gio McCarthy equalised but Newport nicked a goal a little against the run of play in what was a very good game of football. Thanks to all players and parents for all the commitment all year with a group that have improved massively. Keep enjoying your football. @faischools @faireland
All-Ireland heartbreak for basketballers

Hard luck to our gallant u-16 Girl's Basketball team who were defeated in overtime by 2 points in the All Ireland ‘A’ Final today in the National Arena. They gave a fantastic account of themselves, both players and coaches can be extremely proud of their efforts. A special mention to our brilliant supporters who travelled in numbers and drove the girls on right until the end.

Congratulations to all students who competed in Kerry Colleges Cross Country Meet in Killarney. Ciara Eager in first year came 2nd in the minor girls and Colm Evans second year came 3rd in the junior boys . All competitors did really well on the day .
Turkey-Syria Earthquake Fundraiser

Syria & Turkey Fundraiser: As a community response, schools in Beaufort, Killorglin , Glenbeigh and Milltown are having a “ Syria Turkey Solidarity Day “ on Friday 3rd March to raise vital funds to assist the people affected by this devastating humanitarian crisis that has hit Syria & Turkey . The staff & pupils of the ISK have decided, as it is also 'Seachtain na Gaeilge', to hold a 'Céilí Mór' on the Hockey Pitch on Friday 3rd March. We will endeavour to teach the entire school community 'The Siege of Ennis' and will hopefully have a record breaking line of dancers on the day. The school's Trad group will play for the dancers. As this is a Fundraiser for the people of Syria & Turkey we are asking all pupils to bring in €2 on the day. Thank you to everyone in advance for your generosity and kindness in response to this devastating humanitarian crisis.
