Simple Things play at the ISK!!

We were thrilled to welcome local band Simple Things to the ISK yesterday a lunchtime concert!!! Featuring past pupils Dylan O’Sullivan, Kealan Cahill and bassist Shane Kennedy they played a set of all original songs in anticipation for their gig in the INEC next week October 6th. Staff and students alike were singing and clapping along to their electric performance. If you haven’t had the chance yet to check out this stellar group then go see them next week!!!

Our U16s and U19 girls basketball teams had their first game against Pobalscoil Rathmore, with a win for the U16s and our U19s lost by only 3 points, well done to all and best of luck for the season ahead.

Congratulations to former pupil Ciara O Connor who lines out for the womens Barbarians rugby team against South Africa tomorrow in Cape Town. Ciara will then return to her home province to take on Munster next week. Best of luck Ciara!

It was the turn of 1C and 1D to have a blast at Jamie Knox Watersports in Castlegregory on Tuesday. A super day was had by all as our 1st years continue to meet more of their year group and settle into the ISK.

1L, 1M and 1U had a great day out at Jamie knox Watersports, Castlegregory today. New friendships were forged and old ones were strengthened. A great day of fun had by all.

A fantastic day for our new 1st years today with our annual trip up Seefin. Lots of laughs and fun with new friendships beginning on a beautiful day in the wilds of Kerry. Well done to all the students, teachers and 5th years for making it a great day for all!
O'Sullivan Cup

Hard luck to our Senior Boys Football Team who performed well in their quarter final of the O Sullivan Cup against Pobailscoil Corca Duibhne. Played in difficult conditions each player made a great effort in defeat.
