Well done to our u15 team who had their first fixture welcoming Tralee CBS this week. Lots of good spells & an enjoyable game for all with the opponents bringing a second squad who edged the victory as the game went on. St Michaels Listowel next in the Munster competition. @faischools

Lunchtime recitals have started back this past week. An ISK tradition that goes back many many years the lunchtime recitals showcase the talent we have in the school on a weekly basis. First up we had two brilliant performances from Eli and Darragh, well done lads!

The U16 & U19 girls basketball teams were away to Presentation Miltown in Friday, the U19s won & our U16s lost out, well done to all.
Munster Schools Golf in Cahir

Our golfers were out in force competing in Cahir in Tipperary on Wednesday. They were among 96 other golfers from across the Munster region playing in the Golf Ireland Munster Schools Competition. A great day was had by all.

Well done to all our golfers who played in Maine Valley golf club on Wednesday 4th October. The course was in very good condition and was very enjoyable to play. Many thanks to Maine Valley for their continuing support for our golfers over the years.
Junior Boys Rugby

Hard luck to our Junior Rugby team that were defeated by St. Pats Castleisland today in the King Cup on a scoreline of 14-19. Tries from Corey Campion and Donnacha Foley, both converted by Luke O Malley were not enough on the day but our boys put in a tough battling performance.

Simple Things play at the ISK!!

We were thrilled to welcome local band Simple Things to the ISK yesterday a lunchtime concert!!! Featuring past pupils Dylan O’Sullivan, Kealan Cahill and bassist Shane Kennedy they played a set of all original songs in anticipation for their gig in the INEC next week October 6th. Staff and students alike were singing and clapping along to their electric performance. If you haven’t had the chance yet to check out this stellar group then go see them next week!!!
