Following on from All-Ireland success last week, girls basketball goes from strength to strength with our 1st & 2nd years winning away against Coláiste Íde today. Both teams progress to semi finals of south west Munster competition. Great news!

Another marvellous day on the 5th year Rome School Tour. In the morning the group visited the San Callisto Catacombs. Other famous landmarks visited included the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon.

Our 5th years head off on their long awaited school tour to Italy later tonight. It promises to be a fantastic trip. Safe travelling to all and have a great time.

Ukrainian refugees appeal update: A huge thank you to everyone for all of the donated items received so far. These are photos of the carboot load of yesterday’s donations from the school going to Yvette’s. Then two cars stuffed to the gills & Tony from ‘A time to party’ (who willingly gave his time & van) transported their loads to the next town’s sorting station. Yvette is thrilled with the school & Killorglin community’s collective efforts. Thank you again everyone!

Hard luck to the first years losing to CNS by point in their first game of the competition. A very high scoring game which lots of excitement. The Seniors, missing a lot of their regulars, put in a fine display scoring 4-11 but coming up short in the end.
U-15 Soccer

Our U15 boys finished their Munster journey as we went down 4-2 to a spirited Borrisokane CC today, Goals from Sean Griffin, Ciaran Birmingham and a great penalty save from Deaglan Reitveld were not enough. Best of luck to them in the next round and many thanks to all the players for being a superb group to be involved with all year. @faischools @sfaireland
