Student Council Christmas Food Appeal

Our Student Council is organising this year's Christmas Food Drive with all goods received being donated to the Main Street Food Bank (opposite Dunnes Stores). If students are in a position to donate any non-perishable goods, please bring them to the sports hall on Friday 9th December (before 9a.m.). Last year's event was a tremendous success and we would love to make this year even better. The Student Council
U-16 Basketball Midlands League Final

Hard luck to our U-16 Basketball Team who were narrowly defeated by St. Joseph's Secondary School, Rochfortbridge in the Midlands League Final. The lads performed really well and were leading in the fourth quarter. They were unlucky to lose on a scoreline of 53-50 in the end. Thanks to Ms. Purcell and Ms. Meaney for all their work with the team.

T.Y. Trip to Mountjoy Prison

34 T.Y. Students along with Ms. Ward, Ms. Murphy and Mr. Noone visited Mountjoy Prison yesterday. They were well looked after by Governor Eddie Mullins and his staff. An educational and very insightful tour! Mr. Noone

Well done to the Under 16 Basketball Team who beat Ballymahon Vocational School in the Midlands League Semi-Final. The lads had an impressive game winning 36-32. They now look forward to the Midlands League Final on Tuesday in the National Basketball Arena. Ms. Purcell and Ms. Meaney
3C Win a Pizza Party for Finishing the First Term with the Most Positive Notes

Congratulations to Class 3C who finished the first term with an impressive 83 positive notes in their journals. As a reward, they enjoyed a pizza party with their Form Teacher Ms. McCabe. Congratulations also to Ms. Ward's 3F Form Class who were runners-up with 66 positive notes. Well done lads and keep up the excellent work! Ms. Fennell
6th Year Student Mark Smyth Completes Dublin City Marathon

Congratulations to 6th Year Student Mark Smyth on completing the Dublin City Marathon on 30th October. Mark finished the marathon with a time of 3: 29: 57. Huge achievement! Mark took an interest in long distance running in the past year and was preparing for the Dublin City Marathon for four months. He continues his training to run the Clontarf Half Marathon on 26th November. Pictured is Mark running the Dublin City Marathon with his coach Mateusz Janiszewski.
