Transition Year
Best of luck to all Transition Years starting their portfolio assessments tomorrow.
The following is a link to the timetable:
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x47vCaDlP-VyBpRIFM7zXzLr_0WKECRhimV8Hjzo5jQ/edit?usp=sharing
Please arrive 30 minutes before your interview and go to 2/20 for your pre-interview assessment.
Full uniform must be worn.
It is very important that students have completed their Projects + Goals Sheet, displayed this on their portfolios and submitted the published link to their Digital Portfolios before their interview. This is done through their Tutorials Google Classroom.
Students must ensure that all project work is visible on their portfolios (especially their 6 graded pieces). Check the sharing settings of each project.
Please be prepared for you interviews - be on time and look over project work beforehand to be familiar with it.
Most importantly enjoy the experience - be enthusiastic, be talkative and give it your best!
Wishing you all the best of luck!
Any issues contact me immediately.
Kind regards,
S.Coy

The Junior Rugby Team had a very busy few weeks in the last leg of the league.
On the 23rd November, Naas CBS Junior Rugby Team travelled to Rathgar to face The High School. The boys claimed victory over the opposition with a score of 46 - 0. A brilliant performance from the team in blue and yellow with a try from Alan Malone, Pádraic Dignam, Charlie Croke, Conor Marron and Tadhg Kruger. All their efforts landed the team at the top of the league table, making them undefeated in all their matches so far. The Naas side progressed to the semi-final of the league.
On the 30th November, Naas CBS were back in action against King’s Hospital. The opposition were hot favourites throughout the league. Both sides opened well with some great displays of technique and endurance. A try from Darragh Culligan and Tadhg Kruger kept the home side in the game. However, King’s Hospital began to pull away throughout the second half, resulting in a win.
We wish King’s Hospital all the best in the final of the league next week.
Mr. Warren
