Night Study will take place as normal .

Tickets go on sale today for the Gala Concert organised by the PC of both Naas CBS and St Mary’s College.

The concert featuring Soprano Celine Byrne, Tenor Patrick Hyland and The
Baldonnel Singers, will be held in the Church of Our Lady & St. David, Naas on Friday 5 th of May @ 8pm.
Tickets for this event will be limited and we are giving parents/guardians, of both schools, an opportunity to purchase tickets through the schools payment systems (CBS Unique App and
SMCN Easy Payments Plus), tickets can also be purchased in the Naas Parish Office, Barker & Jones and Swans. The tickets cost €30 each. When purchased through school a printed
ticket will be given to your son/daughter prior to concert.
There will also be a raffle on the night and if anyone would like to donate a raffle prize please drop it into the school.
Proceeds of this concert will go to both schools.

15 Past-Pupils Receive UCD Entrance Scholarships for Academic High Achievers

Congratulations to fifteen of our past-pupils from the Class of 2022 who received UCD Entrance Scholarships for Academic High Achievers on Wednesday.

UCD Entrance Scholars are first-year students recognised for their academic achievement who have achieved 560 points or more in their Leaving Certificate. These awards are part of a range of UCD initiatives put in place to recognise exceptional students when they join, as well as those who develop their talents while studying at UCD.
Computer Science at Naas CBS

As part of the new national Computer Science curriculum, our 5th Year Computer Science students learned yesterday how to take a computer apart, identify the major computer hardware components that make up a computer system and then put it back together again. We hope the computers still work!

'CLASS ACT' School's Drama Competition

Naas CBS took part in the 'CLASS ACT' school's drama competition yesterday in the Moat Theatre. The competition had five schools and a nationally renowned adjudicator and adjudication process.
Naas CBS won best actor award with Conor Morgan (1st Year), Piotr Fillipek (5th Year) was also a nominee in this category.
Naas CBS won the award for 'Best Original Play' with their entry 'There's been and accident'
In the big award 'Best Overall Play' we were so unlucky to finish runner up!
In total we had eight students on stage as actors and a stage crew and light and sound crew of three students.
Well done to all and we are already planning on our entry for next year's competition.
