Dear Parent/Guardian, As we move to online classes tomorrow, all students in Mount Carmel are familiar with working on MS Teams. Here is a small reminder for parents how it works: 1. Students log onto MS Teams at the beginning of a school day. 2. They follow their timetable. That means if they have Maths at 8.40am, they log into the Maths MS Team, if they have History at 9.20am, they log into the History MS Team etc. 3. This continues until the end of the school day. 4. If you are working from a laptop, log into your MS Office email account with Mount Carmel and press on the 9 dots to get the MS Teams option. 5. If you are working from a tablet/phone, log into your MS Teams App (available free from the App store). 6. Students can email teachers for help and advice. 7. Teachers are available during school hours. Enclosed is a poster which allows parents to see when students should log on. The "camera on" suggestion is totally optional. Students should make sure devices are charged tonight and we ask all Parents/Guardians to get students back into a regular school routine. We understand the challenges and difficulties online classes can bring to a household but please know we are here to help. Stay safe & well, Deirdre
