1st yr girls Basketball team who beat Cholaiste Ide Dingle 2reach the South west final today. Unfortunately in spite of a gallant effort the girls came out the wrong side of the 33pts to 32pts final score against Cholaiste Mhuire Ennis. Well done girls on a super effort. Also well done & thanks to their 3magnificant assistant coaches Maura O'Neill, Clara Hanrahan & Gillian Musgrave. And well done to the 2nd yr girls Basketball team who played Cholaiste Mhuire Ennis in the semi final of the South West schoolgirls competition today. In spite of a great effort the girls were unsuccessful in their bid to reach the final.

The corridors of the Comp were very quiet today at lunchtime as students were busying themselves with Lunch Time Activities, There was Choir Practice, First & Second Year Boys Basketball Training, the walking club had gone on their weekly lunch time walk to the ferry, the under 15 Boys Soccer were in training for their game next week, our Athletes were in training for next weeks Munster Schools competition, and our Senior Boys Basketballers were in their last training session before next Sunday's Munster Semi Final in Waterford. On that note best of luck to the team and to Mr. Scanlon.
