Congratulations to Ms. Carroll who received Concerns 2019 Fundraising Award. Tarbert was once again amongst the top fundraising schools in the country for concern. Ms. Carroll would like to thank all the students, parents and teachers for the work they do in the Concern Fundraising.

Yesterday our 64 TY students graduated after a busy year of activities , work and trips . They received certs in Football coaching , Nutrition , First Aid , ECDL (3 modules) Gaisce ,as well as their overall TY cert ( distinction , merit or pass ) as well as Fainne pins and Gaisce medals . Well done to all our TY students on a great year .
Senior Girls win the Shannonside League

Congratulations to our Senior Girls Soccer Team who won the Shannon Side League Final yesterday. Playing with home advantage & perfect weather conditions against a strong Gaelcolaiste Team from Limerick the Girls produced a 5 to 2 win in front of a great crowd of supporters. Gillian Musgrave scoring a hatrick & Roise McIntyre a brace. All girls played exceptionally well today led by their Captain Aoife Cregan & special mention should be given to Anna Shine & Lorna Healy who had outstanding performances in midfield. Thanks to Mr.Langan for help lining the field for us all year & Marius who had the field in great condition. And a huge thank you to Ms. Elaine Fitzgerald for her work with the girls all year.

Commiserations to our First Year Boys GAA Team who despite a good display in the first half of yesterday’s final came off second best on the day. The lads had a great campaign and showed great promise for the future of GAA in the school. Well done lads and a big thank you to your mentors Cormac and Paul and of course to Mr. Scanlon for all his work with the team. Roll on next year

Girls Jnr soccer final

Unfortunately the Girls Junior Soccer Team were narrowly beaten in the Shannon Side League Final against a very tough & determined Pallaskenry Squad. Final score of 5 to 4 on the day doesn't reflect the fact that we had most of the possession in the 2nd half, hit the upright, hit the crossbar and saw a penalty rise narrowly about the goalies fingertips. The girls played out of their skins today showing true grit and determination. Well done to our full panel of players & thanks to The management and staff at school for all their support. Onwards And Upwards for next year.
