The second speaker, Catherine, was a past pupil of OLS and she spoke about studying medicine at Trinity and her experience of the Leaving Cert. She also spoke about the importance of taking breaks and looking after your mental health while studying. The final speaker was a representative of Med-Entry, and he taught students about the structure of the HPAT and how to go about studying, some of the other entryways to medicine, and general Leaving Cert advice.

Another great sporting week at Our Lady's School comes to an end! In hockey, Our Junior 3 team travelled to Santa Sabina on Wednesday afternoon where they came up against a strong Sanga Sabina side. The girls had the lions share of the play and were unlucky to find themselves 1-0 down at half time. A strong second half performance unfortunately didn't yield any goals and tbe girls were disappointed to not claim a draw to travel home with. At home, our Minor 4 team played their second game of the season and came out with a very impressive 4-0 win. The girls were delighted to record their first victory of the season and now look forward to their next game In basketball, our U16 and U19 sides had two home fixtures on Thursday afternoon where they played against Mt Sackville in the Divlin league. The U16's recorded a win, 57-31, with a very strong performance and they look forward to their All Ireland tie next week now. The U19's had their first defeat of the season against a strong Mt Sackville side, final score 63-69. The girls are confident of bouncing back next week when they play the next round of the All Ireland Cup. On Friday, our Junior camogie team took to the field at home against Colaiste Iosagain. The girls were too strong for their opponents and ran up a score of 5-5 to which Iosagain replied with 1-9 of their own. A super all round performance, well done girls!
