- The business end of the league season is fast approaching for all teams and we are well in the mix for the knockout phase of the leagues for 5 of our hockey teams.
- On Monday afternoon, our Senior 1 side travelled to Mt Temple for a league game. Despite controlling much of the game and after taking an early and deserved lead, the girls found themselves level at half time after conceding a penalty stroke. We pushed hard to find the winning goal but unfortunately it wasn't to be and we came away with a point.
- On Wednesday afternoon we travelled to play St Conleths with the Junior 1 team. a 1-0 win was recorded here and the girls are now in with a great chance to finish top of their pool and into the semi finals of the league. Well done girls, super work.
- At home in OLS, the senior 3 side welcomed Dundalk Grammar school for a league game. Both sides had good chances but the girls defended resolutely and earned a well deserved point. A positive result in their final league game will see the side into the knockout stage of the league. Well done girls, great work!
- Camogie
- A huge congratulations to our senior camogie team who have advanced to the B championship final. In tough conditions and against a solid opposition in Holy Faith Clontarf, the girls put in another fantastic performance to win by a scoreline of 7-10 to 1-3. On behalf of the Parents' Council we would like to thank all the students and parents who baked their way onto Santa's nice list by donating a cake for the Christmas market stall today. A huge thank you to all the members of the Parents' Council for both the organisation and successful running of the bake sale today in Trinity College.
