Every week a Poem is posted on the Poem of the Week noticeboard to encourage the girls to read poetry and ponder the theme of the poem. This week's poem is​ "The Lady's First Song" by William Butler Yeats. I TURN round Like a dumb beast in a show. Neither know what I am Nor where I go, My language beaten Into one name; I am in love And that is my shame. What hurts the soul My soul adores, No better than a beast Upon all fours.

A reminder to 1st Year parents that the Study Skills Talk starts at 7pm and is followed by a talk from the Principal and your daughter's Year Head at 7.45pm. The Parents' Council will provide teas and coffee afterwards. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night.

TY Fashion Show

Ms. Maguire's TY class have organised a fashion show for Thursday the 4th May at 7pm in the GPA. The show will include outfits made by both fashion classes, for Junk Kouture & the Dressmaking class, as well as outfits from Penny's in Rathfarnham! Tickets cost €3 for students and €5 for adults and will be on sale from Friday lunchtime in reception & at the door on the night. It looks like it will be a great night!
