Congratulations to our Senior team who beat Loreto Balbriggan yesterday in the Senior Camogie Final. Thanks to Ms Murphy and Mr Cantwell for all their work with the team!

Well done to all who completed their ISL course on Wednesday and to the 39 students who completed their Safeguarding course today. Please see photos attached. Also a reminder that some tickets are still available for our Musical, Sisterhood. Get your tickets fast before they sell out. Tickets are available for your daughter to purchase for the first 20 minutes of all lunchtimes next week in the GPA. Please see below some notices for the week ahead: Wednesday: Your daughter will be having her 4th Development Day. She must wear her off official school tracksuit. The TY class hoodies are also acceptable. Please remind your daughter to check the google classroom and the TY noticeboard so she knows her assigned venue and workshop. Thursday: The Chinese class is going on a trip. Students will be leaving at lunchtime and will be back at 15:30 approx.

Well done to the 1st Year basketball team, the 2nd Year hockey team and the Senior hockey team who all wore their OLS strips with pride today. 2 wins and a draw made it all even sweeter!

A reminder to parents/guardians and students that school is closed tomorrow, Tuesday, as per school calendar, to facilitate Junior Cycle training for teachers. School as normal on Wednesday. Many thanks.

A Happy New Year to you all and welcome back after what I hope was a restful break. Best of luck to our students who began their Toastmasters course yesterday. We look forward to seeing the excellent public speakers they become. A reminder that our musical is taking place at the end of this month. Tickets are €10 for students and €15 for adults. Make sure you get them early to avoid disappointment. Tickets will be sold at lunchtimes over the coming weeks. A few notices for the week ahead: 2nd year Parent - Teacher meetings are taking place on Monday. Students will be finished at 15:35. Students volunteering will be finished at 19:00 School is closed for students on Tuesday due to a Junior Cycle day. Safeguarding course is taking place next Friday. Today is the deadline for payments on Easy Payments. This will be taking place during school hours and is a needed first step if your daughter has an interest in coaching children or working with children in summer camps, etc.
Parent-Teacher Meeting on Monday 13th January

School closes at 3.35pm on Monday 13th January to facilitate the 2nd Year Parent-Teacher Meeting. The meeting will take place in the Sports Hall from 4.15 - 6.45pm. Parents are asked not to spend more than 4 - 5 minutes with each teacher as most teachers have a significant number of parents to meet. Please also note that late arrival may mean that you are unable to meet all teachers on this occasion. We look forward to meeting you on Monday and hope you find it a valuable evening.

Sisterhood the musical is coming to OLS, performed by the TYs, from Tues 28th - Fri 31st January. Adults €15, students €10. Tickets are on sale for the first 20 minutes of lunch everyday in the GPA. 1st & 2nd Year Night is Tuesday and these tickets are valid the following day as a homework pass! Wednesday is Student Night - all 3rd - 6th Year student tickets will be entered in a draw for a €50 Dundrum voucher. Book your tickets early to avoid disappointment!
