Today we are celebrating C house’s word compassion. Today we would like everyone to be kind and compassionate to themselves and do something nice this evening. It can be anything from a pamper evening to giving yourself a compliment in the mirror.

Welcome to the first day of our countdown of 5 C’s of Christmas. We are celebrating our 5 C’s- traits we as students of Our Lady’s strive to have. We will set tasks each day with these traits in mind to spread joy during the countdown to Christmas. Today is Day 1 and we are celebrating M house’s word charity. We are asking everyone to empty their pockets of spare change to fill our coin collection bottles. This will be given to the Peter McVerry trust. We are also wrapping the newly knitted scarves in the GPA today, all are welcome.

Well done to P House who are leading the way with the highest ticket sales to date! P1 at Junior level and P6 at Senior level are outdoing their peers! Time for all the other Houses to get to work! Keep selling those raffle tickets and drop your money and stubs into Reception! It's also not too late to drop a donation into Reception. Many thanks.

Today the Fifth Year Lighthouse Committee led a Christmas themed quiz for the Second Years. They also helped them create Christmas cards for local nursing homes. The Second Years are lucky to have such a wonderful group of Fifth Years leading the way.

Christmas in OLS Library

Christmas has arrived in the OLS Library. Like last year we took a different approach to the Christmas tree of knowledge, but we think it turned out great. We have fairy lights and mini villages all around the library, there isn’t a corner that hasn't been touched by Christmas! Thank you to the wonderful team of Student Librarians for decorating the library.
Keep Selling and Return your Raffle Booklets to Reception!

Every student has received their booklet of tickets to sell for the Christmas Raffle, We really need everyone to try their best to sell as many tickets as possible. There will be prizes for the best sellers and House Points for the best House Sellers - so make sure you give it your best shot. If you run out of tickets then come back to reception to get another booklet and another and another! Drop your finished raffle booklets to Reception this week. 12 Luxury hampers will be up for grabs with the raffle taking place on Wednesday the 22nd of December.
