It was a pleasure and a privilege to be invited to University College Dublin (UCD) on Wednesday this week for the Entrance Scholars Awards.
UCD Entrance Scholars are first-year students recognised for their academic achievement who have achieved 560 points or more in their Leaving Certificate. These awards are part of a range of UCD initiatives put in place to recognise exceptional students when they join.
Cross and Passion College had a fantastic six students receiving this award on Wednesday - most schools present had perhaps one recipient. This is a fantastic tribute to our students and our staff who worked so hard over the years together to achieve such success. It is also a tremendously proud achievement for the parents and families of the recipients.
The recipients were Hannah Breen, Eoin Clarke, Hannah Crowley, Halo Domican, Lorcan Murphy and Jill O’Toole.
Many congratulations to all and continued success in the future. We are so proud!
