Dare to Believe - Olympic Ambassador Visit

Today as part of their Dare to Believe programme Transition Years were very lucky to receive a visit from Irish Rugby 7s Captain Billy Dardis. Billy gave the group a fantastic and inspirational speech about his sporting life and his journey to becoming an Olympian before taking the group outside to play some Touch rugby in the glorious sunshine. CPC would like to wish Billy all the best over the coming year as he and the team aim to qualify for the Paris Olympics next year.
4D Community Care- Litter picking

Some students of 4D spent time this afternoon litter picking around the school grounds to improve our environment, as part of their community care class.

Each group came back with a bag filled with rubbish such as food wrappers, bottles and paper. A reminder to all that we should dispose of our rubbish in the bins. 
Parents Association Clothes Collection

There will be a clothes collection in aid of the schools PA and the Laura Lynn Foundation this Saturday, April 15th 10am - 4pm. You are invited to bring any unwanted clothing, shoes and soft toys to the back steps of the school beside the bike shelter. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.

Parents' Association bucket collection Saturday 8th April

The Cross and Passion College Parents’ Association is holding a bucket collection on Saturday 8 April in Kilcullen at the usual collection points at Nolan’s and Eurospar. 
Funds raised will be used to provide support for student activities and the work of the Student Council and also to help towards costs associated with the TY musical 'Fame'.
All support will be appreciated.
Spilled Ink Tickets on Sale now!

Our TY students are excited to present Spilled Ink, a play written by Christina Matthews in collaboration with Droichead Youth Theatre.

Our story follows some iconic fairy-tale characters as they question the meaning of a predetermined destiny.

What will happen as they start to take control of their own fate, and challenge their “happily ever after”? There is only one way to find out.

Spilled Ink is playing in the Moat Theatre Naas at 7.30pm on May 11th and 12th.

Tickets are available for €12 (plus booking fee) from www.moattheatre.com or through the ticket office at 045 883 030. The office is open Tuesday to Friday from 11am - 4pm.

This production is suitable for ages 12+.

Wishing the whole school community a Happy Easter.

Best of luck to our 6th year students beginning oral exams tomorrow.

Safe travels to our TY group leaving for Italy.

There will be no Saturday study during the holidays. 

Classes resume on Monday 17th April at the normal time.

Le Cheile Day 2023 - 3rd Year poetry competition

In preparation for the celebration of Le Cheile Day 2023, 3rd years created poems centred on the theme 'Celebrating our Catholic faith'. 

There was a high standard of entries. Students incorporated the theme with their existing knowledge of poetry writing/techniques. Well done to all who entered. 

 

The winners were: 

1st place: Rebecca Brown (3C)

2nd place: Rebecca English (3A)

3rd place: Lilly Mc Quarrie (3B)
