6th year Geography field trip 2022

The 6th year Geography students went on a field trip investigation on Wednesday the 14th. The trip was to the River Liffey in Kippure Co. Wicklow. The students investigated a V-shape valley. The investigation is worth 20% of the overall LC Geography marks. The trip was a success and was mostly rain free. Many thanks to all the students and also to the class teachers, Mr Walsh and Mr. Dzilic.
TY student James Reid excelles in Karate

Transition Year student James Reid was 1 of just 2 Irish athletes who qualified for the 2022 World Karate Championships in Liverpool last weekend. James came an unbelievable 6th, pictured is James beating the Lithuanian contingent. Well done James, everyone in CPC is so proud of you.
CPC Students visit World Skills in the RDS

42 5th and 6th Year students visited the RDS today to see World Skills Ireland, an exhibition of Further Education and Apprenticeships. It was a great exhibition and a very worthwhile trip for all.
After school study for 3rd, 5th and 6th years.

The shop has been reopened until this Friday 16th of September for anyone still interested in joining after school study. It's on Monday through to Thursday from 4:20pm to 6:20pm at a cost of €235 for the first term.
For anyone who has already signed up could I please ask all parents to send me an email to inform me of any absentees or if your child has to leave study early for any reason.

Congratulations to Della Cowper Gray third year who has been selected to be part of the Ireland under 16s womens soccer team!

Della has been selected to be part of the Ireland under 16s womens soccer team. The team will be playing two games against Wales. The first match is tomorrow and the second will be on Thursday. This is a huge achievement and we are all so proud of Della. We will be cheering you on from here. Well done!
U19 boys basketball trials

2nd Year's learn to code with Micro:bit

Mr. Mann's 2nd year Technology class have being having fun this week as they began their coding journey. They are using Micro:bits, Chromebooks and lots of peer teaching and learning to get to grips with it. There maybe a future coding geniuses among the group.
