The message shared with our students encouraged them to make good choices and to be mindful of peer pressure.

James Meehan, Lilly McQuarrie and Katie O'Donnell, members of the Ember team, along with one of their classmates introduced the season of Advent to all first year groups.
In preparation for the 1st of December, each 1st year student was given a copy of the advent wreath to colour in, researching the colour of each candle and what they represent.
They were also given an advent calendar to create their own countdown to Christmas through acts of kindness. The Ember team gave them a suggested list of acts of kindness. Each day will reveal a good deed to complete.
Best of luck to all first years completing this! Students in other years can also try to complete acts of kindness throughout the month of December.
