They also gave an insight into their own experience of 5th year and offered great suggestions on how to make this year a productive year that will benefit the 5th yr students as they progress into 6th year next year.
Junior Cycle Results

Dear students, parents and guardians,

As you know the Junior Cycle examination results will be issued by the State Examinations Commission (SEC) on Wednesday 18th October

The results are available to Junior Cycle candidates online from 4 PM via www.examinations.ie on that date. Access to the service requires the use of an examination number and a unique candidate Personal Identification Number which will be issued in advance to schools.

However, this online service is not intended to replace the valuable results service and advice provided by schools at results issue time.

We are inviting all current students of Cross and Passion College to gather in the Assembly Hall at 12pm on Wednesday 18th October to receive their results. Results will be available for collection from reception by all other candidates strictly from 2pm.

We are conscious of the fact that students will need time off from their work experience employers to attend and encourage students to seek permission in advance from their placement. Given that some students may be coming directly from placement students are not required to wear their school uniform.

We look forward to seeing you then and wish all students the best of luck on results day.

Kind regards
J Leonard
Principal

1st year students were provided with a retreat as Cross and Passion College on Wednesday 11th October. The aim to ensure students feel connected to their school community and it is our ongoing effort to create a positive and caring school culture where all are encouraged to grow, with dignity, to their full potential.

Fr Cyril Odia (lecturer of youth ministry in Maynooth University) and his team from the Salesian community had generously organised a day of music, workshops and experiences that inspire community spirit and thanksgiving. Students engaged in workshops about the rosary/prayer, sport and faith, Salesian spirit and listened to a testimony from Sr Mary. The day ended with some Ceili dancing!

Mass was celebrated by the whole 1st year group, teachers and the Ember team. A student from each 1st year class read a prayer of the faithful and a member of our 4th year Ember team read a prayer too. Well done to all involved.
