CPC’s Senior Boys GAA team incurred their first loss of the year today when they fell victim to a very physical Mountrath team. The CPC lads worked very hard throughout and can be proud of their effort.
They can still progress to the South-Leinster Quarter Final if they win their last group match against Tullow next Thursday. The final score was 2-11 to 1-09.

Kilcullen survey - have your say
Created : 02 Dec 2021, 10:08 AM
Archived : 02 Feb 2022, 12:00 AM
Dear students,
as you may be aware there is an ongoing consultation about the future development of Kilcullen. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE YOUR SAY!! Please fill out the survey through the link below.
I received this message from one of the organisers:
We are currently running a survey in the town and its found at bit.ly/3kTxiBl
From reviewing the online survey results to date, we see that we are not getting feedback from the youth of Kilcullen.
So we are wondering would it be possible if the students in 4th, 5th & 6th year could be asked for their opinion of Kilcullen.
We are looking for positives and negatives along with ideas for the future and what their age group needs…. i.e. A youth café, more sports facilities etc.
With thanks.

It was lovely to have a chance to speak with Della Cowper Gray yesterday following her success as winner of the 2021 Zurich Young Portrait Prize. Her dedication to her work was so evident and I learned a lot about the time and effort that goes into producing such a stunning piece of work. Well done Della and thanks to Ms Mills for organising a small presentation of congratulations.

6L rebuild our Christmas Crib

It’s December and that spells the start of Christmas celebrations in CPC. It didn’t take long for the CPC crib to be built in our foyer. Our crib is made of reused and recycled materials. It was built this year by the 6L class, they did a great job. The figurines are extremely old and have been a part of Christmas in CPC for longer than any current staff member can remember.
