Huge congratulations to the 1st year boys basketball team who have just won the Midland final beating Dunlavin on a score line of 37 - 24. The lads showed great grit and determination to build on a slow start and held an 8 point lead at half time. They continued to work hard on defense in the second half and this proved to be the difference as they capitalized on these forced turnovers on offense. The lads now step up a grade for next season. Well done to the team and to coaches Ms. O'Malley & Mr. Wheeler on the day and thanks also to Mr. Walsh who has also played a part in getting this team to the final.
