First Year Information Evening - Tuesday Sept 10th

Dear Parent/Guardian,
We hope your son has settled in well here in Summerhill and is enjoying his new school.
As part of our induction programme we are hosting an information evening for first year students and their parent/guardians in the college gym on Tuesday September 10th at following times for each class group:
6:30pm – Ss Felix, Finbarr, Flannan and Francis
8:00pm – Ss Fabian, Fergus,Fiachra, and Finnian
Students are welcome to attend but need to be accompanied by at least one adult for the evening, be in their full uniform and should bring their School Journal.

Surf Club - Change of Date

Surf Club this week has been changed from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning 1st May at 11.am.
Students need to sign out of school at the school office and be at Strandhill Surf Club for 11.am. The session should finish by 2pm and students are expected to return to school for afternoon classes. Unless students are catching the bus they shouldn't leave class before 10.30am.
Any issues please see Mr. Tivnan before Thursday morning. Thank you.

" Surf club is on tomorrow afternoon. Students have to be at Strandhill Surf School by 3.30pm. Leave class and sign out at 2.54pm. The session should be over by 5.30pm. There is a chance of tomorrow not going ahead due to small conditions so listen to announcements in the morning. Thanks."

5K Fun Run & Walk to Raise Funds for Ms Charlotte Costello

A 5K fun run and walk will take place on Sunday 19th of May at 12pm from Calry Community Park Hazelwood to raise funds for Ms Charlotte Costello.
Registration will take place at break and lunch times every day this week in the College GP area. Registration costs €5 per student/child, €10 per adult and €20 max per family.
Registration will also take place on the morning of the run from 11am at Calry Community Park.
All members of the school community are welcome to take part and encouraged to show support for this event in solidarity with Ms Costello and her family.
